Curt's role with the Firm has taken on an evolutionary nature since divestiture of his equity interest as a shareholder in 2012. The landscape looking back is with gratitude for a number of rewarding experiences: a solid education from Illinois State University in 1972 leading to a B.S. in accounting and achievement of CPA recognition; a career devoted almost entirely to the practice of public accounting in the areas of tax, auditing and general consulting where many great relationships were formed; the opportunity to participate in the success of many talented and hard-working entrepreneurs; the opportunity to sow seeds of learning to a younger generation who will lead the firm in the future.
Curt is now looking forward to a role substantially less demanding with a narrower focus on individual and small business tax services, particularly in the agribusiness industry. Curt continues to provide counsel to the firm on a variety of issues, and to serve his church and community.
