Vicki DeYoung is a Shareholder with SKDO. Her areas of expertise include tax consulting and preparation, business consulting, computer systems/software analysis and investment analysis. She enjoys serving small to mid-sized businesses by assisting business owners and leaders in recognizing and enhancing key components related to success in their individual markets and industries. She enjoys working with companies to understand their unique businesses and the dynamics surrounding them. She feels this is crucial to maximizing tax, business, and investment strategies.
Vicki graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1996 with degrees in Accounting and Finance. She passed the CPA exam in 1996. Before joining SKDO in 1998 she worked for a large private firm as Controller. Her experiences in private and public accounting have enabled her to look at business opportunities strategically and analytically from both inside and outside perspectives.
She has received the accreditation of a Personal Financial Specialist from the AICPA. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor, member of the AICPA, and Illinois CPA society.
Vicki became a Shareholder in 2006 and one of her current roles within SKDO is the Tax Line Leader.
While she is not at SKDO Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys travel in the United States and Europe and hopes to have many more opportunities to experience new countries in the future.
